If the same standard was employed towards the use of force by the EU’s own border guards against refugees as against the use of force by rival states like Belarus against foreign-backed rioters, then Poland would already be sanctioned by the EU.
Does not really surprise me, considering the brutality that Latvians routinely have displayed during the russian revolution, the holocaust and other occasions. Hitlers most willing helpers beside the "Ukrainians".
Double standards or not, Poland has a right to close the border. I am afraid Belarus would have to deal with this problem internally. Try to lock down the border is probably the best. Make the refugees know that they are not welcome, and let them propagate the words back. There is no moral high ground to solve this problem without damaging the welfare or national security of Belarus. The same can be said for any other nation. If you don't like refugees, you drive them out. Keeping national territory complete is the number one responsibility of any government.
