"...that Biden himself approved..."

You make it sound as if the operation was merely given the nod by the Commander in Chief of the US, and therefore all NATO's and the entire 'civilised' world's, most powerful military-industrial complex and killing machine. This is not true to the explanation and report produced and provided by Seymour Hersh. He makes it quite clear that the very head of all authority not only simply granted permission for the operation to go ahead, but was intrinsically and intimately entwined in every nuance of its planning and execution. Indeed, he insisted there must be a button he could push to start the process, which could thereafter not be stopped. I can't help wondering why that was so important to him. I suspect he took this button of his own magnificent design into a dark corner and pushed it while he was masturbating.

"...Biden himself approved..."

Here we go again. Not only approved, but was most likely the last hurray of sexuality the poor geriatric may experience.

"...this partially anti-Ukrainian spin might thus be a pro-US disinformation campaign...."

Uh... Duh!

"...it might be exploited to persecute the opposition ahead of fall’s elections...."

"Oh where, oh where has my scapegoat gone;

Oh where, oh where could he be?"

"...The West would go along with this for ideological reasons..."

Defies the imagination, doesn't it: as if politicians in power now may be able to continue after the war, as if nothing had happened, 'Move along, nothing to see here...'; as if Hitler and the Nazi party might simply have had a little election to assure everyone he was the rightful leader and they should carry on after 1945, as if it were still 1935?

"...thus exculpating Kiev and Washington while pinning the blame on PiS."

Yeah right, like poxy little Poland's going to take on Russia! Someone might think now that they could get someone to put that in their mouth before the war, but no-one's going to swallow it, not even LGBTQ+nonce-for-me fans.

Try to think outside the box, because that's where we are: think of the world as it would have been before 1945, and what it would have been like after; think of it as it was before the Russian bear had been so rudely woken and enraged, and what it's going to be like after. Polish PiSs is of little consequence.

"...how advantageous it would be for the West’s liberal-globalist elite..."

Ask yourself this, 'How important are the West's whatever-they-call-themselves?'.

See what I mean?

It's not a unipolar rapidly globalising world anymore.

Thanks for the feedback, I edited the last sentence of the first paragraph to clarify that Hersh's report concerned a totally different operation than the one that Germany is now looking into.

I'm glad you replied, because I'm not very good at social media and I can't work out how the hell to send you an e-mail. I'm afraid this is as good as I'll get. I hope you don't find it embarrassing:

I've been wondering how I might ask something of you for some time now, since I've been planning something of my own offensive for the solstice. I'm going with the Greenwich take on when it's to be: "In 2023 the summer solstice will occur on Wednesday 21 June at 15:58 BST." (https://www.rmg.co.uk/stories/topics/summer-solstice) BST is one hour ahead of GMT, two hours behind Moscow. I posted details to Substack (https://mcddd.substack.com/) yesterday.

The thing is, I've been given credits to offer a month's free subscription to your newsletter two or three times. I've used them all, but unfortunately only my son and daughter have taken advantage of the offer. (But I'm glad they did, and I'm glad it was them, so that's not so bad.) Since giving away these credits, a couple of times, I've come across an old e-mail which has made me think, 'Damn, I bet they could have made good use of that.' by which time, of course, it was too late, having already given the credits away. I don't know if you arranged them, or if Substack did so, but I've been wondering if there's any way to get the same thing again. I reckon there are about half a dozen people I'd overlooked, who would be likely to take advantage of the offer, two of whom I'm pretty sure would be quite glad to be remembered so. If you play(ed) any role in the process, do you think I could have a repeat, please? I'd really like to have the opportunity for this to coincide with my upcoming offensive.

I'm not familiar with credits so I can't help you out with that. As far as I know, it's not something that individual writers give out, but I could be wrong.

OK, I'll ask Substack.

Sorry to have bothered you.

No worries, not a problem at all. Good luck!

"...accused Biden of personally planning a very different American-led operation than the one that Germany is looking into."

Oh yes, that's much better!

Thanks, I'm sure that's better — more accurate.

Sorry if it (I) came over a bit too strident.

I find my patience wears thinner and thinner.
