This is the US’ reward to Poland for replacing its conservative-nationalist government with a liberal-globalist one and then comprehensively subordinating itself to Germany.
Unfortunatelly, it looks the other way round to me. Poland is subjugating itself to Ukraine (or to be preceise to the Ukrainian mafia state). Soon there will be precious little left from the Polish economy. It is also a dangerous escalatory step. Poland lost its ability to grasp its national interest and will pay dearly for this ignorance.
Signing any agreement with the illegitimate Zelensky regime is a wasted effort. At the end of this war, Poland will not be guaranteeing Ukraines security unless Russia agrees to it and they certainly will not be providing weapons or repair of them.
I think this is inevitable since the beginning. The most natural end-game is pre-ww2 border. The simple fact is the declining empire simply does not have enough capacity to sustain the Ukraine war. In comparison, Poland and Belarus are the two most "relevant" nations to the war besides the waring parties. Poland as a nation, both government and people, have a much stronger incentives to sustain the war and helping Ukraine, much more than US or any other Baltics countries.
The same can be said about the changing situation between US, Taiwan, and Japan. Despite US intentions, it simply does not have enough capacity to handle Russia, NK, and China as a block. SK is forced to be fully engaged to counter-act NK, but Japan would have to shoulder more, and the history that Japan once occupied Taiwan for 50 years and carefully managed Taiwan is definitely a factor. I don't think it was a Russian missile, but rather an errant Western air defense one, though I'm familiar with both sides' arguments and the footage in their support.
There are too many claims of fact in this piece that are not supported by evidence. An obvious one is claiming a Russian missile hit a children’s hospital. We do not know what missile or whose missile hit the hospital. This is just one of many unsupported claims in this piece. I am disappointed in Hersh.

Why doesn't Ukraine just hang a sign around its neck (in Russian) saying "Conquer all of me."
Yes, in order to save Ukraine for THE Ukrainians, that might be the only way.
What do you know about the missile strike on the hospital?
