Hi Andrew! I'm not clear about how the divvying up of the Ukraine can take place while the Russians are still active in the country undertaking their SMO. The inference is that they already know where the new borders will be. How can they already know that? Denazification is not a territorial endeavour. To remove the right sector from wherever it operates, implies that all of the Ukraine is potentially under assault until they are gone completely. Where will Europe get the money to fight a campaign of this length and strength, and who will fight it for them? Ultimately the public will stop paying for it! The G7 envoy looks like just another feeble paper pushing job without purpose.

The SMO is mostly limited with the Line of Contact (LOC), with only sporadic drone and missile bombardments against military targets far behind the front lines.

We can already largely surmise where the borders will be, namely along the LOC with perhaps a few adjustments, barring anything unforeseeable.

Even in the latter case, NATO or Poland could just roll as far east as possible to draw a red line in the sand for stopping Russia's further advance.

As for where additional funds will come from, the West is already preparing to transfer the interest that Russia's stolen/frozen funds have generated.

Thanks Andrew, I had forgotten about the frozen reserves. That buys NATO quite a bit of time.
