I was involved in the NATO attacks on Serbia (Kosovo) in ‘99. It took 20 years for me to figure out it was all a lie. NATO was supporting Albanian Kosovar separatists, not protecting Kosovar citizens. It was really an attack on Serbia, to pressure them (and the other Balkan countries) to join NATO and distance themselves from Russia.

I cannot agree more. But what I have heard about the USA in the future, An opportunity for Russia and China to tacitly back a "Colour Revolution" in the US! The Western elites will not see this coming and I am very optimistic this will succeed! Serbija shouldn't worry too much and what I see with the EU, it will realign not only with splits with the UK and US but getting closer to Russia. Yes there will have to be a helluva lot of hard work to regain Russia's trust but is it doable? I say Absolutely! The US is suddenly about to be isolated and very vulnerable very soon. Watch this space Andrew!

Thank you. Now I see why Russia has had a lukewarm attitude toward Serbia. However, until there is a pipeline reliably into Serbia, I don't see any Serbia leader can be stronger than Orban is in Hungary. Orban can take a stronger position because Hungary is already inside of EU, while the Serbs do not have particularly good relationship with its neighbors after the Yugoslav Civil War, nor inside the EU. It is simply hard to manage an inland country nowadays.
