There’s no denying the accuracy of the official assessment shared by Turkish President Erdogan’s foreign policy advisor Ibrahim Kalin that the Ukrainian Conflict has reached a stalemate, which is “politically incorrect” to talk about since it contradicts the Golden Billion’s “official narrative” and thus proves how futile further arms shipments are. The fact of the matter is that Russia has successfully held its own throughout the course of its nearly year-long special operation in the face of slightly less than three dozen of its NATO opponents fighting it by proxy there.
Not sure why you are supporting the notion that this is a stalemate when the additional 380,000 troops and, from the sounds of it, vast additional armaments that Russia is lining up for use have not yet been deployed. RU is making steady progress in grinding down the Ukr military, including everything that NATO has thrown into the mix so far. I suspect that Turkey is calling it a stalemate at this point because they are trying, as they often do, to bolster their own standing as a broker in the region. While I would be delighted to see a peace settlement worked out a.s.a.p., as long as Kiev and the US/NATO persist in keeping it going by setting demands that Russia cannot possibly be expected to accept, it's not immediately likely. In that sense, it's a stalemate, but not in the sense that neither side can win on the ground. That question has yet to be decided.
I suspect the purchases from North Korea were as much to keep them out of the reach of Uncle Sam as to put them to use. Not until at least the quality had been established, bad shells kill the wrong people.
