Typical imperial American pattern--praise some leader to the stars, lavish aid, pressure him to get more and more of his people killed to accomplish the imperial goal of the day, then dump him when he is no longer profitable.
I've seen videos posted of Ukrainian soldiers using photos of Zelensky as target practice. Surely that is not a good sign for him, either.
