Seems to me this is an indication that Putin definitely does not want a wider war, and would like it very much if tensions between Belarus and Poland could be reduced. That's no surprise. Russia wants to trade with the rest of Europe, not to conquer it.
I didn't know about the Polish elections in a couple of months. I do know that more and more Poles are not happy with the consequences of the Ukraine War to them, and there's a lot of resentment against Ukrainian refugees that has built up there. Surely, most Polish people don't want a full-scale war with Russia.
