Trump did it because the US empire is fueled by white supremacist ideology. India has been a vassal of the US for many years and now it's going to bite them in the ass now. Nothing the empire does is logical. Haven't you figured that out yet?

Is it safe to assume that you are not a white supremacist?

India, being the "I" in BRICS, is far from being a vassal of the US still.

The largest oil refinery in the world is in India and it processes large amounts of Russian oil.

Very🤣 Though Modi has internalized white supremacist ideology. And yeah the oil is the only thing the US empire is interested in.

The United States has no reason to be interested in India's oil.

You probably want to tell them that.

They already know it.

They're going to steal it anyways. It's what they do.

Or India, Russia, Iran can completely de-dollarize the trade through that corridor, making it impervious to US sanctions...

Expand full comment

We heard that line before. Hows it working out.

Expand full comment

Such that the US president is issuing threats against those avoiding the US dollar. As such, in this case cannot be double jeopardy. People are not using the USD because they are sanctioned (for using the NSTC). They cannot be sanctioned twice: for not using the USD, because they don't use the USD because they were sanctioned...

All in all, is working.

" And China is not that dependent on trade with US anylonger... "

Facts to back up this unfathomable assertion ?

China is still dependent on trade with the USA, but much less so than 10 years ago. And chances are the trades between the two will continue to drop. In 10 more years, China's population will show a noticeable reduction to the point China's official statistics cannot cover up the demographic change any more. The need for food staple import alone will reduce trades with the USA significantly. During that time, some manufacturing will return to the USA or at least Mexico and further reduce the trades. If the USA or Israel triggers another ME war, the situation may force KSA into an oil embargo or simply raise the oil price. That would further reduce the trades due to shipping costs.

Russia, China, USA, India, KSA, and Iran all need some breathing time to deal with internal issues. As long as DJT keeps his MAGA promise, I predict most of the international tensions will look tense on the surface but quiet down under the table. The calm, if any, would be short-lived. Once neocons get the power back, the Empire will strike back, the same as every other fading empire in the history.

You have NO facts that prove China is dependent on trade with the US. It is unfathomably simplistic/dumb to think the USA is not dependent on Chinese manufacturing.

Excellent work! Given that Russia has already won in Ukraine, this indirect vulnerability is the only way for Trump to apply pressure on Russia.

This could be an attempt to advance an IMEC route, promoting the ME peace plan at the expense of Russia/Ukraine.

Trump would be wise to fully investigate USAID's influence in all of the world's transactions.

I doubt Trump had any such idea. Rather, the neocons surrounding him came up with this, and they are obsessed with doing whatever possible to harm Iran in preparation for the war that they seek to wage on that country.

Correct, These plans and "ideas" dont come from lowly presidents. It just boggles the mind why the BRICS side never seems to come up with " diplomatic-economic masterstrokes"

Waging war on Iran will lead to the Gazafication of Israel with high tech non-nuclear weapons that Iran has in abundance.

Maybe, just maybe engaging in too many hostilities at the same time is not effective. Obama&Biden approach was always to engage Iran and to be hostile to Russia. Obviously, switching (Novorussia in exchange for Iran) would be effective, but Trump has too many Russiaphobes in Senate to appease.
