The era of Europe freeloading off of the US and its liberal-globalists manipulating it into doing their geopolitical bidding against Russia might soon end to the benefit of peace-loving people and businessmen on all three sides.
Thanks very much for your generosity in sharing these insightful and well informed articles.
If Trump is serious about a negotiating some form of rapprochement with Russia, and is sincere in his apparent wish for peace and cooperation in Europe, then it’s unclear to me why he should, concurrently, demand that Western European countries should more than double their current - anti-Russian- defense spending to 5% of their respective GDPs. I mean, either Russia is planning to invade Poland or the Baltic states or something, or it isn’t, and presumably he thinks it isn’t, or he wouldn’t be looking to a detente.
Unless of course what he’s really demanding is that they, in effect, transfer 5% of their GDPs ad infinitum to the US MIC, as the price for a vague, general and highly dubious commitment to defend them from the scary and psychotic Russian Bear, although, as he implicitly acknowledges, it isn’t very scary at all.
I agree that it's more of a shakedown than anything, and I think that the Western European elite sincerely believe in the so-called "Russia threat" conspiracy theory so they'll likely comply.
I also think that Trump later on wants some of them to transfer their air and naval assets to the Asia-Pacific for helping the US to contain China there, which explains why he's demanding such a spike in military spending.
Do you think it is rational for the Western Elite to consider the "Russia threat" as a primary motivator any time after 1991? Placing events of the last three decades in a logical order the U.S. seems to emerge again as an existential threat to Europe while Russians generally acted with self-restrain under constant pressure. It seems that the general Russian interest under Putin centered on economic and cultural development as opposed to militarism. This might be the exact reason why they performed surprisingly poorly from the start of the Ukraine war.
I am still trying to find a comprehensive work on the pre-war weapon deliveries to Ukraine from U.S./NATO. Did you write something about this or have you seen anything. At one point Frau Merkel opened her big mouth on the subject telling Putin that U.S./NATO encouraged Minsk with a view to gain time to arm Ukraine. Putin’s answer was like; then we should have attacked earlier. Somebody should buy a few drinks for Merkel; maybe she will spill the beans…
I don't think it's rational, but I do believe that they sincerely believe in it and that it greatly influences how they've behaved from 2022 onward. I don't think that their statements and actions since then are done under duress, there was lots of pressure to be sure, but they seem to sincerely think that everything was worth it in response to the phantasmal "Russian threat".
Actually, what if Trump thinks they can’t actually develop a functional alternative military alliance in the EU? He knows these countries cannot agree on anything for one thing. Some of this may be designed as a reality check- moving the Overton window slowly and leading the EU to face its own inconsistencies. It’s run itself like a teenager, with free protection coming from the US so it gets to spend ‘pocket money’ on long holidays. Also, they have emasculated their societies and need to reverse that socially to rebuild any martial spirit. Also, you cannot build up militarily when you are aging out your population because they are propagandized chicken littles who believe in dedicating their lives to green nonsense instead of procreating (I’m unusual in that I managed to have 5 children after I realized the climate scam was bs). In reality, the military issue is the tip of the iceberg of civilizational decline, which is a bigger issue that needs addressed comprehensively. But, withdrawing Dad’s subsidized protection and letting the teenager grow up is a start.
Trump, of course, is not giving up the Empire. He simply realizes that the U.S. is losing and that what the ruling elite has been doing up till now has failed miserably and at extreme cost to the U.S.
Trump will try to turn the Russian against China. However, the U.S. has a long history of duplicity in its dealings with Russia and Russia as part of the USSR. Also, Russia and much of the world realize the ferocious-in-the-extreme nature of U.S. capitalism. It has reached its highest stage of predation and will even devour its own.
I have commented for a couple years now that russia is too broke to invade europe. The US cannot afford to be europes army either so the only logical choice is to make europe pick up the slack. China is by far the likely source of the next WWar. They have been on an expansionist project for decades now, unlike russia who was mainly concerned about the corrupt ukranian and american governments fomenting uprisings along their border. Let us not forget the biowarfare labs built by the US in ukraine and the human traffucking business there also.
It is only about the costs associated with the stay of the US armed forces in Germany, for example, such as health costs for soldiers and family members. A large, modern new hospital is currently being built for the US armed forces. New housing has also been built.
I think you need to check out Trump's comments about pulling the Navy out of the South China Sea before assuming he intends to continue the Obama Pivot to Asia policy. It sure surprised me when I heard him say it.
You seem to be analysing the situation from the pov of the old paradigms. I believe that a new paradigm is active. In which the US will retreat to the N-American continent and give up on Europe and Taiwan. It wont happen overnight, but the trend looks clear to me.
And since I expect that the EU and UK will be trying to use NATO against Trump, he will probably be glad to abandon the NATO altogether.
Just about the only thing that might survive is the Nuclear Umbrella. At least for a while.
The Western World was placed on a path of self-extermination with WWI and Ukraine is only the latest station for this train that is crying out to be wrecked. America was the main mover and exploiter of this dirty project. Although Russia acted sincerely to put a break on this process after 1991, U.S./NATO moved in under U.S. initiation. The good news is that the domestic situation in America is showing classic, in-depth, end-of-life characteristics. The situation is far worse than it looks. It is rotten to the core. ALL data, statistics are falsified, Soviet Union 2.0 reloaded. Even population and economy stats are forged. The actual number of illegal aliens inside the U.S. is north of 30 million. They are not even trying to gear up to solve the problem, just scratching the surface. Presently, indications are Trump is trying to maneuver for NWO next stage. That will be more wars and more biolabs worldwide. Watch for the Republicans losing majorities at the midterm elections two years from now. That will be the moment when he will give up all major projects and apologize. Suddenly, Congress will deny money for his beloved border wall that he already gave up on during his first term. The only salvation for Europe is to finish off U.S. occupation and allow America sink just like the Titanic did.
I agree with your first half of the analysis- the west was stirred up against itself starting from ww1. Look at the Wall Street finders of Trotsky also. I believe hidden forces or puppet masters have been playing the west after gaining final control over it since the war between the states in the US (1865) and with central banks taking over after monarchies were deposed or left passive. Yes Europe should finish off its ‘occupation’ but the US isn’t the occupier. The US was also enslaved for at least 100 years and was dragged into both world wars against the will of the people. These puppet masters of the US, Europe and collective west, not the real US, waste responsible for the bioterror nonsense of Covid and more. I’m hoping maybe it’s true that Trump is starting a different paradigm as another commenter mentioned. The moves against USAID were tantalizingly hopeful. For now at least, Trump’s rapprochement with common sense does not feel like a scam. We shall see.
After I have seen a video on Frau Merkel spilling the beans on arming Ukraine years before the war I came across a Trump video today. He is telling into our face that he was arming Ukraine with Javelins long-long before this war during his first period and that is 2017 to 2021. That means that he was one of the original instigators of this conflict.
NATO is a treaty approved by the US Congress. It won't be easily junked aside without Congressional support. Besides, the USA still needs Europe. And BlackRock wants to control Germany now that they have lost Ukraine.
You don’t need to officially end it. You can weaken it by simply taking advantage of the weak wording off Article V and interpreting how you want. Trump will say Europe and Ukraine were on the offense therefore Article V’s collective Defence aspects don’t apply any more. Also, piss off Europe over Ukraine and maybe THEY will try to kick the US out of NATO or build something without the US.
It's easy to get carried away by the fast pace of the last 4 weeks. One gets drawn in by the hope of a rapprochement between Russia and US, and for the war to end with the promise of lifted sanctions, renewd business integrations etc..
However I don't believe that US's policy towards Russia has changed at all. The war is all but lost, and what we see is a change in tactics. Get a ceasefire in place and give Ukraine and Europe a breather. It's a new type of Minsk agreement in the making

Nicht aus Deutschland, Deutschland ist ein Protektorat der Weltmacht USA seit Ende des, Weltkrieg
ohne Friedensvertrag und ohne Verfassung. Der deutsche Steuerzahler übernimmt die Kosten der
der US Truppen in Deutschland.
It is difficult to believe Germany foots the entire bill - if so, why leave.
It is only about the costs associated with the stay of the US armed forces in Germany, for example, such as health costs for soldiers and family members. A large, modern new hospital is currently being built for the US armed forces. New housing has also been built.

The Muslim horde will soon overrun Europe. We can’t afford to defend them anymore from themselves. The us should withdraw from NATO.
Thank you for your frequent posts. They are much appreciated.

Thank you, Andrew. I expanded on the question of post-war US troop deployment on my substack yesterday. I'd be grateful if you took a quick look: https://mrothschild.substack.com/p/trumps-pivot-to-russia?r=1sjftn
The solution really seems this simple.
Germans should rum all us forces out of Germany take back your sovereignty
LOL germans are too busy with their perpetual self-hate about the six gorillion hoax from 80 years ago to even REMOTELY attempt your wet dream LOL
