I am afraid countries from far away would try their best to prevent this peaceful settlement. Historically, similar situations are solved by war. For a land-swap deal, I think a deal with Somaliland is better: to have a port outside of the Red Sea.
You're right, but what I'm saying is that other military-commercial ports in Eritrea or Djibouti could complement what Ethiopia is negotiating with Somaliland, not replace it.
