Why’d Zelensky Humiliate Himself By Telling The Davos Elite That Putin Might Have Already Died?
It's one thing for a member of the SBU-backed fascist troll network known as “NAFO” to wildly speculate about President Putin’s death and thus imply that he’s been replaced by a body double or even a clone in order to raise morale after Soledar’s liberation and another entirely for Zelensky to do this at Davos. All that he accomplished by spewing his conspiracy theory was to further discredit himself, his side, and its cause at the absolute worst moment for Ukraine’s public relations since the special operation began.
Zelensky’s credibility is being shredded nowadays after his insistent claims of an inevitable Ukrainian victory in NATO’s proxy war on Russia through his country were directly debunked by the Polish leadership this week after they warned everyone about Kiev’s impending defeat instead. CNN even jumped on the bandwagon by amplifying this new narrative about the Ukrainian Conflict. To add insult to injury, Zelensky’s former senior advisor earlier admitted Kiev’s culpability in the Dnipro tragedy.
One would therefore have expected the Ukrainian leader not to exacerbate his side’s public relations crisis that suddenly exploded this week, yet he instead did the complete opposite by publicly putting forth one of the kookiest anti-Russian conspiracy theories ever. According to his official website, Zelensky told the global elite at Davos on Thursday that “I do not fully understand whether he (the President of the Russian Federation - ed.) is alive.”

The notion that a world leader as powerful as President Putin secretly died some time ago but no intelligence agency anywhere in the world even heard a rumor about this, which their perception management proxies would certainly have obsessed over had they did, is completely unbelievable. Nobody should therefore doubt that he’s very much alive, which Zelensky and his intelligence agencies are obviously aware of as well, which thus raises the question of why he’d tell the global elite otherwise.
It can’t be known for sure, but this might have been an attempt to at least temporarily distract the Western masses from the new narrative about this proxy war introduced by the Polish leadership. Kiev must feel very uncomfortable that their top patron on the continent is now so worried that Russia will soon win that its Prime Minister and President both fearmongered about this just days apart. Zelensky might thus have shared his latest conspiracy theory in a desperate bid to recapture control of the news.
Even if that’s what motivated him, then it’s doomed to fail since the new narrative was introduced by the Polish leadership and subsequently amplified by leading Mainstream Media outlet CNN for a reason. The US-led West’s Golden Billion knows how dire the situation truly is for its proxies right now, hence why it finally decided to reshape perceptions about everything so that that they’re closer to reality and might thus convince their people to support giving Kiev more than the $100 billion it’s already received.
It's a risky gamble, to be sure, and one that entailed throwing Zelensky under the bus in the process by discrediting everything that he’s claimed up until this point even if the Golden Billion is doing so with the understanding that “this is all for his side’s own good”. Nevertheless, it’s not surprising that he and his side are outraged by what their patrons just did, hence why the Ukrainian leader might have purposely spewed one of the kookiest anti-Russian conspiracy theories ever in order to distract the public.
In any case, this entire incident is extremely embarrassing for Zelensky, both because his patrons just threw him under the bus and then he inadvertently discredited himself even further with his aforesaid conspiracy theory out of desperation to change the new narrative about this proxy war. This terrible week for Ukraine’s public relations isn’t over yet so there’s still the chance that everything might get even worse for its international image in the coming days.
Lots of drugs at Davos.
It’s astonishing that these people are playing these games like there aren’t millions of their own countrymen being displaced and killed as a direct result. All for the almighty green back?
